I don’t have the time to give “Jobs Friday” the treatment it deserves but on Friday a whole host of economic data related to employment is released. The big number is the Nonfarm payrolls number, which tells the number of net jobs created in the previous month. As I mentioned yesterday, with the status of the economy in a rather nebulous state, people are going to be paying extra close attention to these numbers.

Right now the consensus projection is 115K net new jobs created for November. I guess we’ll find out at 8:30 AM EST.
