Goal Update

As I mentioned earlier, October wasn’t such a hot month in terms of savings. I spent some money on some products that I’m hoping will turn out to be a good investment. I realize I’ve been neglecting things around here. Much of my free time (of what little there is) has been spent researching a few business opportunities. I’m 99% certain I want to start some sort of business on the side in the next year or two, so I’m trying to research as many opportunities as I can–trying to find a match between things I’m good at and things I could see myself being motivated enough to do.

There could be a shift in the focus of this blog in the coming months, but for now here’s the update:

Goal Update

Well, here we are again. Things have been moving along fairly nicely. I had a few doctor visits & prescriptions that put a dent in my savings this month, but it wasn’t too harmful. Did I hear you asking for a pretty Excel chart? I thought so…

October Update

So there you have it. 12.7% of the way there. An increase of $560 from last update. By now you’re probably thinking, “Dude, if you’re saving $500 a month, I don’t think you’re gonna make it.”

And you’d be right…if I didn’t have a few things up my sleeve.
